This website contains materials related to solid waste landfill management in Asian countries. The main documents in this website is taken from project on "Sustainable Landfill Management in Asia" under the framework of "Asian Regional Research Program on Environmental Technology (ARRPET)".  The proposed project has been carried out in four different countries namely, China, India, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Asian Institute of Technology is mainly coordinating the project as well as some of laboratory experiments and maintain networking system. The emphasis is given in design and operational aspect of appropriate solid waste landfill technologies and upgrading of existing dumpsites.
